At this moment, I am anticipating my final course to be reviewed by my peer reviewer so that I could move with corrections if any, gladly accept and review thoughtful comments and suggestions, do adjustments and complete my final course development. I will then conduct the final review before submission.
After completing the course review for one of my peers yesterday. I realized that the course review will not be complete without the job aid, which was not opened for me to review as this was meant for the other reviewer this week. I requested to open this to me so that I could go through this too, that way my course review can be a complete product. It is always a good practice to get more than one person to review your documents as each person’s ideas, thoughts, and ways of checking do differ and the outcome of the final product will be a success. The biggest challenge was making sure that all bits and pieces of the course development were corrected once the mistakes were identified during the final part of the job aid review. For all to be perfect the final course review rubric played a major role in helping with the completion of the course.
As at present, to finalize my course, I have left with my final video presentation, final reviewer evaluation form, self-evaluation and eventually the final course design submission which completes my LTEC 5510 technology-based learning environment class this summer 2019. I hope to record my video presentation either inside the recording booth located in my department this Friday or early hours in the morning where I would not be disturbed by the neighbors barking dogs or the sound of the lawnmowers.
I enjoyed the peer review sessions that were included in this class mostly because my peer reviewers were good team players and the planning, reviewing, communicating and collaborations include the support that each willingly provided can never be compared to any other team I have been in my previous semesters. Work has been running so smoothly and we have managed to accomplish so much.
Yes. I am happy that I would be able to meet with the timeline and complete my course on time. On the implementation and evaluation of this e-learning course, As mentioned before in my blog I would have liked to implement this, but I doubt this very much as I need to assess on how ready my organization is to accept this e-learning program, although I hope to run through and evaluate the e-learning course through my department of instructional designers where I am currently working in.
