Has your goals changed?

Having a solid background in Information technology I opted for my bachelor’s in applied technology and performance improvement from UNT. Upon completion, I started my Masters in Learning Technology to explore further the teaching methods and to bridge the gap between technology, process improvement, and education to serve the faculty, staff, student and the community.

As of now, my career goal seems to be in the same track while the goal has extended to the capacity of taking the learning technologies towards the most vulnerable people who also has the right for education according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights “Everyone has the right to education… Article 26 (1)”

While engaging in the master’s program and learning about MOOCs, virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality I was inspired to take the learning to the humiliation population “the refugees” where they could see beyond the camp and being able to find ways, means, and methods in teaching the refugee population. This will involve information technology, telecommunication, and education that I am now confident in combining for a better broader solution to the organizational needs.

The Master’s program has allowed me the opportunity to further my education with new technology innovation tools and new teaching methods in the hope of serving the humanitarian population the most venerable people in my future endeavors.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the University of North Texas (UNT) for providing the opportunity to further my education, the most dedicated professors for drawing out exciting programs and to all my peers whom I had the privilege of studying together (although online) motivated me to make this program a success.
