Twitter is design to provide quick bits of information. This platform allows users to search Google for tweets, hashtags, gifs, and users. This is free advertising and adds another way to advance your career by letting you only type in 280 characters or less.
Those who sign on with Twitter mostly want to interact with other’s and hear others thoughts. These collaborative efforts to bring users together ultimately add to great networking. Commenting on the contents to other people’s posts is just an effective way of building the brand on the twitter account and over time, people will get to notice names that come up often.
I have re-created the account that I had before in the hope of selecting, the humanitarian criteria to take learning to the refugee camp population and build up online learning, powered by solar-powered equipment. This would enable me to use my learning and technology knowledge. While being online on Twitter for less than two weeks in education criteria, I feel that twitter is a knowledge database that is useful for my future endeavors.
There are job boards in twitter account that also could help to advance one’s career, a search that gives details of the specific sectors who hunt for new employees. Twitter also helps one to follow companies that post a job listing and new opening on their account. Following up with the Muse on twitter is a great job search tip.
Being a graduate student, I liked research and the ability to write scholarly articles. With the encouraging feedback that I have received from my lecturers, I am confident that joining the ResearchGate could improve my researching ability and will draw me to be an expert writer, which will help me further my education and make me become a lifelong learner.
