Although theoretical research is explanatory that leads to the advancement of knowledge, I prefer to focus more on practical research that is into solving a problem for development purposes. I liked to be more focused on research on how technology can be reached to refugee camps and how teaching and learning can be a possibility for everyone. Although this is experimental and directed as an innovative solution this will be greatly valuable for the refugee community. This will brighter their future, help them to learn skills, build confidence, think critically, and will help them to see a brighter future ahead.
As a simple research study, my research question would be “Online student engagement”. Primarily, I would gather prior research information to obtain more knowledge in the research area and research on information on the online engagement of students and instructors. The conduct of the study will be through formal/informal research questionnaires and e-mails sent to faculty members, online instructors by discipline, and students. This could be conducted in the college I work, and the collected data would be analyzed by learner engagement, instructor engagement, content engagement, other engagement strategies, and problems or implications.
