Locating three research methods was quite challenging when these were needed to comply with the research topic I would write. Previously I found research on solar power written as case studies. Where the case study identifies the “analyzed to seek patterns and causes of behavior in every aspect of a subject life and history.” Used for education and social work. Going by the research documents, I thought to proceed with case studies. With the submission of the proposed new method, Dr. Warren advised that the case study is broader and to go with the ethnographic approach. Gerring (2004) mentions that the case study is a method often adapted but slightly understood and describes as a thorough study of a single unit to simplify across a more extensive set of units which confirms the advice given by Dr. Warren.
The three new methods for my research:
Ethnography
There seem to have many branches when exploring the ethnographical research analysis. Two of the research analysis that could be useful for my research title would be an educational ethnography. Anderson (1989) mentions critical ethnography in education.
Critical ethnography: Critical ethnography is a qualitative method that explores and understands the right way to think, see, talk about a particular ‘action’ or ‘situation’ in society and recommend unfairness, e.g., vulnerable populations.
Educational ethnography: The practice that involves observing the learning and teaching methods of the people and what effect their behavior, the learning process, pedagogy,
Hoping to research “Sustainable education to all,” the educational and critical ethnography could be a possible solution that needs to be further analyzed.
Systematic review Analysis
A systematic review collects all existing data on a topic to answer a particular research question. The systematic review determines a question, sets inclusive and exclusive criteria, find, and selects the literature, critically appraise the literature, and synthesizes the literature. The systematic data is secondary research. The review gives a clear and comprehensive overview of the evidence on a given research question.
Phenomenological Research Analysis
The research analysis investigates human behavior, what they say and what they do, and how they make their interpretation of the world. Data collection is a small sample size that includes surveys, interviews, pictures, charts, graphs, and observations. I will try to understand the essence of a phenomenon by finding the extent of individual experiences of people. The research looks for the universal nature of an experience. The study provides a details description of the human experience; results emerge from the data instead of statistical analysis that can reveal the bigger picture through the trends emerge from the data. Some of the limitations are subjects articulated due to experiences that need the researcher to interpret and analyzed, which could be a false conclusion.
