While getting close to writing my dissertation, I am thankful to Dr. Warren for incorporating the study model in my last research study. Although writing this was challenging, the class recording, and explanation was so valuable that I went back and forth to listen to your clarification, points, and suggestions to incorporate them into the narrative document. Dr. Warren’s feedback on the earlier contextual framework written on MOOCs helped me understand the requirement of filling up the framework. One of the disadvantages I faced this week was not having enough time to brainstorm the questions. But with the research carried out, the recording fulfilled the requirement.

Chapter 3 dissertation outlines the specific methods chosen by the writer to research a problem. The techniques, data collection, and analysis need to be provided to answer the research question. As the completion of the paper, the overall design became more apparent to me. Although, the fear of obtaining the IRB approval and data collection for the research made me hesitant about whether this would happen and be completed in another year.

When the narrative was written, some of the questions were about the connection between the ethnographic and meta-analysis and whether using both methods in the research was correct. I also felt that many of these methods needed to be studied more to understand the right approach. I slightly changed the framework while filling the narrative design as I understood the requirement clearer by writing these two documents in a parallel setting. Writing this paper and brainstorming what needs to happen was a significant step forward in my dissertation research.
