Having completed my portfolio and the defense in early March 2023, I completed the rough draft of Chapters 2 and 3 while in the class of LTEC 6480. Chapter three was completed last week. I am writing the Chapter 1 introduction, which I hope to complete this week. I will strive to finalize and complete my three chapters before this semester ends so that I can complete my dissertation proposal around mid or end of May (if time permits)

The proposed dissertation timeline is as follows:

– IRB submission (Apr’23 – Jun’23)

– Data Collection (Jun’23 – Aug’23)         

– Data Analysis (Aug’23)

– Chapter 4 writing (Sep’23 – Oct’23)         

– Chapter 5 writing (Nov’23)         

– Revise Chapter 1-3 and format all (Dec’23 – Jan’24)         

– Defense – Feb’24

The above is a rough scratch on my dissertation timeline. Although I am interested in completing this year, I will get moving as fast as possible and give more time to the projects I need to complete on my dissertation. This week has been rough because many other projects have come by that need to be completed, along with the TXDLA virtual conference presentation, LTEC 6220, and LTEC 6260 course completion that took more time. However, as these are almost in completion this week, I should be able to give my time entirely to complete my dissertation. My target is to prepare the IRB submission within the next week.
