What do you have left to do on Tasks 6-8? What has been challenging? Have you changed how you are distributing work on the research plan and other documents?

As a group, we will join in for a meeting on 11/23/2021 to discuss our final tasks. The task seven turn-in is to combine all documents and prototypes that we produced this semester into one file that will contain:

  •  Task one the identification of the problem 
  • Task two product architecture, design, and engineering
  • Task three product assessment plan
  • Task four implementation plan
  • Task five evaluation plan

From the overall project, the most challenging task was task 5, although somewhat similar to task four, with clarification of how to approach the task. The team completed the study successfully.

We discussed together and took different parts throughout the semester depending on our knowledge and what suited our future research projects. We compiled our research as we built each separate section within the tasks. (e.g., overall pedagogy, teaching and learning, renewable energy, and Moodle). 

We slightly change the distribution of work to focus on the overall project and re-check the documents and correct project files from the feedback that we receive from Dr. Warren. A few feedback points on task two will be discussed with the other members. It was best to call for a meeting and receive their inputs to proceed with the feedback points. There were so many other recommended feedbacks corrected, added, and formatted within the task two document.

For the prototype work, what have you completed this week? What is your plan for next week?

Task seven requires the team to combine all documents to one and turn them in on December 9th. I went back to task 2 to run through and do corrections to the paper going through Dr. warren’s feedback; although some parts needed to be completed by other team members, I did much as possible to save time for the other team members. The remaining changes will be completed after the team meeting review. This week we will take time to run through all the other documents, make the required adjustments and improvements, and combine them into one file. Although we thought that task seven must be completed and submitted on the 4th, with task seven not being there in the module and with a response to an email that we received from Dr. Warren, we do have to submit on the 9th, not on the 4th this gives us more time to finalize and amalgamate the documents. We will submit it on the 9th as our final document.

We met today to discuss the final paper and the presentation. Having gone through all the tasks, we decided how to break each assignment and the titles we would use for the final paper. Our plan for this week is to complete our final document and complete our presentation as soon as possible. We would achieve this by Alex reformatting task three and including the same to the last, Thiru working on task four, and Nelumdini on task five.

Who will complete the presentation work development? Who will present for you?

A rough draft presentation was completed today and shared with the team before our meeting; our team met today to decide on the final paper and the presentation. Will create the presentation slides on PowerPoint, and we will go with the duplicate titles made on the final paper; while keeping the presentation short and sweet, we will include all the necessary information focusing on our product design as well as why engineering project is a great model for the future. Once the presentation slides are completed and shared among the team, we will collaborate and fill out the slides, which will then be voice recorded, taking turns by each team member. We will finally generate the video presentation for submission. There will be no class presentation by the group, but we will host it for all other students to watch our presentation.
